CityBeads – Innovative movable public furniture

Group project in which we had to design a new product for leading manufacturer of tow bars Bosal Tobo. After eight week we came out with a maybe not-so-relevant but interesting product idea: movable public furniture. Individual yet social. Create your own spot, to relax or to sport: CityBeads.

Renders for a juicer concept

Maarten Karremans, a friend of mine, had to make a concept for a orange juicer . It is influenced by sunglasses and ‘female’ shapes.

I modelled it with Solidworks 2010 SP0 and rendered it with Photoview 360 2010. It is made from duranickel, chrome and (colored) plastic. Some editing with Photoshop is done to give the juice a more realistic look.Juicer

Bulthaup B3 Kitchen – photographs & renders

Bulthaup B3My parents wanted a new kitchen and so they decided to get in contact with Bulthaup Zwolle. After a few meetings the final design was there, of which I made a 3D model and rendered it with Photoview 360:

After 4 weeks of construction, the new kitchen is ready to cook. I made some shots with my Panasonic Lumix LX-3.


Maxwell render for Tomado snack toaster redesign

Tomado snack toaster render

This render I made a few months ago while experimenting with the Maxwell for SolidWorks plug-in. The toaster is a redesign of a traditional Tomado toaster, aiming at a more user-friendly and intuitive product. Materials in this render all come from the Maxwell material libray. Render process took about 14 hours on my desktop.
