The costs vary per assignment, depending on the type op job (web or graphic design, 3D rendering or perhaps photography) and the (estimated) time needed for it. In most cases, the costs are determined in advance, however for large and detailed projects with customer specific requirements, the costs can be determined afterwards based on cost per hour.
